Song Info: |
This song was originally a bare bones production with vocals, drum, bass, and just a smidge of guitar. I opened my email one morning to a note from Slarou who told me he was adding a few things to the song and wanted to know if I would like to hear it when he was done. Having heard his music, I said, "heck, yes!" This version of the song was the result. I like it so much, I almost forget that I had anything to do with it. |

I go to work I go home I go to work I go home I go to work I go home I go to work I go home
I sell my soul I get my pay I sell my soul I get my pay I sell my soul I get my pay I sell my soul I get my pay
I go to work I go home I go to work I go home I go to work I go home I go to work I go home
Clock me out now 'Cause I'm tired to my bones |

I sent raw vocals from a project I was throwing away to refrag. He refragged them. Outside the Fridge is the result. It's so cold. |

Voice is very interesting...bordering on androgeny where it could be male or female...works well in both downtempo and blues (kind of like Moby's "Play" album).
Never been able to quite define contralto. Good luck with your music and kudos to you for supporting indies. -Jehn

Hey Jill... Billy from Steaming Dookies here... kind of a fun song... Outside The Fridge... sounds like me after barhopping and I end up eating some really awful mix of food! Hey, if you wanna do a collab with me, just drop me a line. I love your voice by the way, DJ and singing... Laterz!

3 cheers for the Jackless lady who carries plenty of class and sings like a sultry canary. Stay out of work, keep making music and let your throw away vocals sooth our souls as "Outside The Fridge" does! - Nice One ;) |
